10 Frame Solid Bottom Board

The solid bottom board is a great addition to your beekeeping supplies, especially for keeping your hive warmer during cold winter days. The plywood bottom provides better insulation, which encourages the colony to start brood production earlier in the spring. Additionally, it helps prevent fire ants from nesting under your hive. The bottom board is made of a White Pine frame with a plywood bottom, ensuring durability.

You can switch between a solid bottom board for winter and a screen bottom board for spring and summer.

To ensure longevity, the exterior of the bottom board will need to be painted.
